2 Nights / 3 Days Itinerary

 
 Day 01:

Drive KTM- Chitwan, transfer to via boat across the Narayani River to IslandJungle Resort On reaching resort, our Guest Relations Officer will brief guests.
1:00 pm - Lunch
3:30 pm - Elephant Safari/ Jungle walk/ Nature walk with Boat Ride
8: pm - Dinner, after dinner Officer Brief about tomorrow

 
 Day 02:

5: am – wake up call followed by tea/coffee
6:00 am – Bird watching/ Elephant Safari/ Jungle Walk
8: 00am – Breakfast
9:30 am
– Crocodile Walk. 45 minute walk through grassland and forest upstream of the Narayani River. Board boats to observe crocodiles along the banks while floating back to the camp.
1:00 pm
– Lunch
3:30 pm - Elephant Safari/ Jungle walk/ visit Observation Tower/Nature walk with Boat Ride
8:00 pm – Dinner

 
 Day 03:

5:30 am – Wake Up call followed by tea/coffee
6:00 am - Bird Watching/ Elephant safari/ Jungle Walk
8:00 am - Breakfast
9:00 am – Departure Chitwan- KTM

 Day 01:

9:30 am – Boat Excursion to Amaltari Ghat followed by a full day Nature Trek to the Churia Hills.Pack lunch enroute and return by foot or bullock-cart Another option    
9:30 am visit Tharu Village to see and learn about  ethic people of Chitwan. Return to camp
1:00 pm – Lunch
3:30 pm ­– Boat Excursion to Amaltari Ghat  and return by foot or bullock-cart
8:00 pm – Dinner

5:30 am – Wake Up call followed by tea / coffee
6:00 am - Bird watching/ Elephant Safari/ Jungle Walk 
8:00 am – Breakfast
9:00 am - Departure Chitwan-KTM

General Information

Open all the year around, Island Jungle Resort is situated in the famous Bandarjhola Island inside the western section of the Royal Chitwan National Park. The area is composed of riverine forests with the vegetation consisting principally of there species of trees.
   Besides being located in an isolated area, the above biotic factors too contribute into making Island Jungle Resorts a prime habitat for the largest variety of wildlife of Chitwan that thrive in abundance. Ample opportunities await guest to watch the wildlife from elephant back, on a Jungle walk boating down the river, and on a trek
A grade
  Bandarjhola is one of prime habitat of the Royal Bengal Tiger. Besides that, nearby long river banks of the Narayani is a spot where two species of Crocodiles, the Gharial and Marsh Mugger can be sighted on sunny days round the year. Animals frequently seen include rhinoceros, sloth bear, spotted  deer    hog deer, barking deer sambar  deer and wild boat, while the tiger and  the leopard being more elusive in nature are seen less often, but the chances remain healthy.
  Much of the park’s avifauna have also preferred to settle around the vicinity of the Narayani  River flowing besides Bahdarjhola. On a boat ride, one gets of the larger and attractive species such as the Bar Headed Geese, Mallard, Pintail, Pochard, Darter and the Ruddy Shell Duck.

Besides these, many among the 450 species or so of birds that habit Chitwan can be observed furtively darting around the thickets of Bandarjhola.
